I continued at UMD for two more years, played Football, and BS.
Started Working at Mille Lacs County Sheriffs Office in 1984, and after 30 years remain there. I've held every position at the sheriffs office, and am currently a Deputy in charge of the Civil Process Division, and Warrant Division. I also teach Drug Abuse Resistance Education in the area schools and continue to do that every year since 1990. I Retired November 1, 2017 after 34 years, and now have been doing appraisal work and restoring 50's and 60's Trucks as a hobby at home. I also am an active Fisherman, and wanna be golfer, (terrible at it though).
Currently living in the Milaca Mn area. Have a Cabin on a lake Mille Lacs, as well a old homestead in northern mn countryside of Tenstrike, Mn that was built by my Grandfather in 1936. I've spent the last decade renovating and restoring the home, barn, and shed. In my spare time at home, I restore collector pickups in the garage, and also have been building hotrods. This is the first year (2013) I've been taking my vehicles to car/truck shows, doing very well.
