Dennette Bowman Marks

Went on to graduate from Bethel college and moved to Albuquerque, NM where I worked in a hospital and home care agency. Did a short term mission to Chiapas, Mexico and then on to Alaska. I've lived and worked in Alaska as a Public Health Nurse since 1990-currently residing in Fairbanks. My husband and I have served in ministry as worship leaders and pastor/evangelist. Active in the youth soccer in Fairbanks and our daughter now plays in college in California.

All of my memories at GVLC are great-it was a special time, with special people and a sacred place to grow in the Lord. Lifelong friends came out of my time there-we had lots of fun with Jodi Johnson forgetting to open the damper on the fireplace; outreach team travel to rural churches; canoe trips with Baumer on the North Shore; sheep class during interim and learning how to cross country ski!
